PHOENIX -- Passengers at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport said an airfare war came along just in time to boost their vacation plans.Southwest Airlines started the price plunge by cutting its one-way fares to $30 on hops under 400 miles and $90 for flights over 750 miles.Other airlines jumped on the bandwagon with American, Delta, US Airways, United, Frontier, Air Tran and JetBlue matching the Southwest fares.The flights must be taken between Sept. 9, 2009, and Nov. 18, 2009, and must be booked before 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
