PHOENIX -- Cars going 10 mph over the speed limit will no longer receive tickets from photo enforcement cameras in Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Public Safety announced Thursday.Speeders going 11 mph or more over the posted speed limit, however, will still receive speeding tickets, said DPS Director Roger Vanderpool. The new, higher trigger speed eliminates an inconsistency between speed-camera-related statutes, and it reflects public input since the expanded program went into operation in September, DPS said.Nevertheless, the agency said DPS officers can still issue speeding citations to people driving below the 11 mph trigger speed. Here is a list of DPS photo enforcement camera locations.
