Raleigh police release photos of vehicles possibly related to fatal shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Raleigh police are asking for assistance in solving a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday morning on West South Street.

Police want to talk to anyone who were in the 400 block of West South Street or the surrounding area shortly before 5 a.m.

Raleigh police are also interested in talking to anyone who recognizes two vehicles seen in surveillance footage taken near where the shooting occurred.

When officers arrived Wednesday morning, they located 23-year-old Ramon Antonio Shaw, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Shaw was taken to WakeMed where he later died.

A second victim, 30-year-old Joshua Jamar Vines, was also taken to WakeMed where he was treated for gunshot wounds.

Police do not have a suspect or suspects in custody at this time.
