Two men are in jail after they allegedly broke into a home in Mohave County on Wednesday morning and stole cash, a gun and a computer.
Justin Wayne Thompson, 28, and Michael Blaine Turner, 23, both of Kingman, broke a bedroom window in the 16800 block of Knoll Drive, took a .22 rifle, a laptop computer and $18 before fleeing in a red station wagon about 7 a.m.
Just before 10 a.m., deputies were called to an accidental shooting involving a .22 rifle in the 15100 block of Holly Drive.
Police said Thompson's 24-year-old wife was shot in the stomach by the rifle that was in the backseat of the station wagon as her and her mother were unloading groceries from the grocery store.
Thompson's wife was airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas where she is in critical condition.
Thompson and Turner were booked into the Mohave County Jail on felony charges of burglary and possession of a weapon.
