Two arrested for selling meth in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) -

Johnson City Police arrested two people Saturday for selling meth.

According to officers, Joshua Collins, 30, and Holly Hughes, 24, were sitting in a parked vehicle on West State of Franklin Road. When officers walked up to the vehicle, they saw drug paraphernalia in plain view inside.

Police said they then searched the vehicle and found several bags of what appeared to be methamphetamine, a large amount of cash, and more drug paraphernalia.

Collins and Hughes were arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center.

They were both charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

Collins and Hughes will appear in court Monday morning.
