ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FL (WFLX) - Deputies in St. Lucie County have arrested a mother and daughter who, police say, were operating two unlicensed assisted living homes.
Alfred Charlevoix of Fort Pierce and her daughter Claytresia Yearby of Port St. Lucie are now facing felony charges. The sheriff's office says the mentally challenged patients in the homes were locked in their rooms.
Both father and daughter are out of jail after each posting their $7,500 bond.
