MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

A 6-year-old Mesa boy was granted a wish of a lifetime.

Logan, whose last name was not given, is battling a type of eye cancer called retinoblastoma.

All he wants to do is hang out with Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants.

His wish was granted with a trip to the Caribbean, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

There was a send-off party at a pizzeria Saturday afternoon for Logan and his family.

Logan said he's most excited to dance with Dora on the ship.

Since 2007, UnitedHealth Group has funded more than 2,136 wishes through a $7.5 million alliance with Make-A-Wish.
