A Yuma man was in stable condition after suffering stab wounds during a bar fight in a Prescott bar Wednesday night.
Justin Swanson, 26, was flown to a Phoenix hospital with wounds to an arm and shoulder, according to a Prescott police report.
Swanson suffered severe bleeding when an artery in his arm was severed, according to the report.
Swanson, his girlfriend and another woman were in a bar on North Cortez Street about 10:30 p.m. when they got into an argument with three unidentified men. The argument escalated into a fight, during which Swanson was stabbed, according to the report.
Swanson was initially taken to Yavapai County Medical Center before being flown to Phoenix.
The three suspects fled the bar before officers arrived, according to the report.
Police said they didn't know what type of weapon it was, but detectives were processing evidence and investigating leads.
