TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

He's had roles on TV shows like All My Children, Melrose Place and the TNT drama Rizzoli and Isles.

But over the weekend, Colin Egglesfield played the part of a jailbird after being locked up in Tempe.

Colin Egglesfield's Instagram account shows he played a round of golf and then went to a Diamondbacks game at Chase Field Friday afternoon. But what it doesn't show is what he was up to early Saturday morning.

The actor was arrested on Mill Avenue during the Tempe Festival of the Arts.

According to a police report, an officer spotted him knocking over barriers set up to protect artwork. Investigators say he flipped over a table and broke several signs inside a tent.

Egglesfield was charged with criminal damage and disorderly conduct. He was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
