MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Mesa police said an 89-year-old woman missing since Monday morning has been found safe and sound.

Juanita Burdick was found in Fort Stockton, TX, on Wednesday, said Mesa police Sgt. Tony Landato.

She was last seen leaving for El Paso, TX, about 10:30 a.m. and went missing from Alma School Road and U.S. Highway 60 in Mesa, Landato said.

She was driving a faded two-tone, gray-on-gray 2000 Ford Econoline passenger van with Texas license BGM1390 and a yellow scrape on the side, Landato said.

Her route was intended to be through Globe to Safford, to Interstate 10 and on to El Paso, Landato said.

He said Burdick was not carrying any identification with her.
