MEET DETAILS-2014 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships
On the men's side, Ryan Milus and Tatum Benard-Taylor will compete in the 60m dash, while Anna Jelmini is set for the shot put, and Shelby Houlihan will compete in both the mile and the 3,000m.
Milus' career-best tying mark of 6.60 from the Lumberjack Team Challenge on Jan. 17 placed him at No. 9 in the descending order list, while Benard-Taylor's 6.63 from the NAU Invite on Jan. 24 placed him at No. 15.
For Jelmini, her shot put mark of 16.92m from the MPSF meet places her at No. 13 on the indoor list, and Houlihan's 3000m time of 9:05.86 is good for No. 11 in the nation. Houlihan's mile time of 4:37.52 was at No. 21, but due to medical scratches, she qualified to compete in the event.
Jelmini and Houlihan are the only two repeat qualifiers from last season, as the former placed fifth in the shot and Houlihan took 12th in the 800m run when the Sun Devils made the trek to Fayetteville, Ark. Milus competed in the 60m dash preliminaries in 2012.
