Phoenix police say an 18-year-old has committed more than 40 beer runs in the Valley.
They call Anthony Vasquez the most prolific suspect in this type of crime.
Police say he targeted Circle K stores, stealing as many as 233 multi-packs of beer between November 2012 and June 2013.
The total value lost is about $5,100.
Police identified him using surveillance video and capturing an image of a car during one of his getaways.
They say he had prior arrests for beer thefts and a felony warrant for stealing jewelry valued at $65,000 from a Phoenix business. Vasquez and a second suspect were apprehended and the jewelry was recovered.
