PHOENIX (CBS5) -

The bulk of the Arizona State track and field teams are off this week, save the pole vaulters, who are making the trip to Flagstaff on Friday to compete in the NAU Tune Up.

Seniors Shaylah Simpson and Heather Arseneau, and redshirt junior Amber Pasternak are set to compete for the women's side, while redshirt seniors Derick Hinch and Chris Manuele, redshirt sophomore Tanner Greley, and freshman Dillon Groener will compete for the men.

The women's pole vault is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. MT, followed by the men's pole vault at approximately 5 p.m. MT.

Also for the Sun Devils, redshirt senior Anna Jelmini will travel to Albuquerque, N.M., to compete at the USAFT Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The shot put finals are scheduled for 1:20 p.m. MT on Sunday.

Jelmini is one of three athletes competing under a collegiate affiliation, joined by Iowa State's Christina Hillman and Wisconsin's Kelsey Card. Hillman currently holds the nation's top collegiate throw at 17.51m, while Jelmini owns the No. 8 mark at 16.86m.

Up next, ASU will make the trek to Seattle, Wash., to compete at the MPSF Indoor Track and Field Championships, Feb. 28-March 1.
