CAMP VERDE, AZ (CBS5) -

Two 7-month-old tiger cubs recently rescued in the Valley were introduced to an adult tiger one at a time Wednesday to begin a mentoring process.

A white cub named Gabriel and an orange cub named Journey met face-to-face with Jubilee, a female adult tiger, at Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde.

Jubilee was chosen to begin the mentoring process so they can learn proper tiger etiquette, both with other tigers and humans.

The schooling will continue into adulthood.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department said they discovered the juvenile orange tiger tied up with a collar in Phoenix on New Year's Eve. The white tiger was found a few days later in a dog kennel in Queen Creek.

Out of Africa park owner Dean Harrison said a man who has not been identified brought the tigers from Texas and illegally sold them as pets in Arizona.
