PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police hope new surveillance video will help catch the man who tried to rob an adult book store in November.

The robbery took place Nov. 21 at the Paradise Adult Boutique near First Avenue and Osborn.

The suspect waited until the store was empty and then took out a gun and demanded cash.

The worker reminded the gunman that he was on camera, then took out a baseball bat from behind the counter and swung at the suspect.

The man took off on foot without any money.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, between 35 to 43 years old. He is 5'7" tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has fair complexion and black, "slicked back" hair.

People with any information about the suspect or his whereabouts are asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or toll free at 1-800-343-TIPS.

A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for tips that lead to the suspect's arrest and conviction.
