TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman is recovering tonight after getting rescued from a trail in Catalina State Park.

Golder Ranch firefighters hiked for more than an hour to reach the injured hiker after she slipped on a wet boulder and hurt her leg.

The woman was brought out on a one-wheeled stretcher and taken by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation.

The severity of her injury was not reported.

Firefighters want to remind people to carry plenty of water and a cell phone when spending time outdoors.
