The Arizona Lottery launches the newest game in the Scratchers series Tuesday.
Lucky Life will allow players a full range of tickets with a chance to win up to $5,000 a week for 20 years, Lottery official said. Winners will also have a lump-sum option.
Officials said that each price point ($1 to $10) will offer the highest top prizes ever for Scratchers tickets in Arizona.
The Phoenix office will host a celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday with a special spin-to-win offer and scheduled appearances by the Phoenix Suns Gorilla from 11 a.m. to noon, Cardinals Big Red from noon to 1 p.m. and Coyotes Howler from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Players also can visit the Arizona Lottery office in Tucson from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday for other kick-off events.
The Lucky Life series includes a Second Chance Drawing for non-winning tickets with a chance to win up to $100,000.
The Lucky Life Scratchers series includes the following four Scratchers tickets, ranging in price from $1 to $10:
$1 ticket: top prize $500 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $2,500
$2 ticket: top prize $1,000 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $10,000
$5 ticket: top prize $2,500 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $50,000
$10 ticket: top prize $5,000 a week for 20 years; top Second Chance prize $100,000
The Lucky Life Scratchers series includes four Second Chance Drawings. Scheduled draw dates are May 15 and Oct. 16, 2014, plus two dates in 2015, all of which are subject to change. The deadline for entry is 11:59 p.m. on the day prior to each scheduled drawing. All entries received prior to the designated drawing will be eligible for subsequent drawings, unless that entry has already received a prize.
