A Valley father and son are now millionaires thanks to their Doritos commercial.
The commercial, called Time Machine was a top five finalist in the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl competition. People voted and the commercial was selected - and aired during Super Bowl Sunday.
Commercial director and co-writer Ryan Andersen, of Scottsdale, stars in the spot alongside his son, Gavin and their dog. It was shot in the family's front yard. Anderson said the spot cost less than $300 to make.
They won a trip to the Big Apple to watch in person to see if they'd won, and their ad aired early on in the game. They took home $1 million.
Andersen is an aspiring filmmaker.
