Bratenahl Police confirm that a woman was injured after a hit and run accident on the Eddy Road overpass over I-90.
Police say that the woman was involved in a two-car accident on Eddy Road around 6:45 pm on Sunday. After the accident, the woman and the male driver of the other vehicle got into a verbal argument.
After the quarrel, the unknown white male driver got back into his full-size silver pickup and drove away with the woman hanging onto his car. He drug her to the 1-90 Eastbound ramp, where he got out of his truck and began to beat her.
After he beat her, he again got into his truck and drove away, running her over in the process. The victim was taken to Metro. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Bratenahl Police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect. He is described as a white male in his 40's, about six feet tall with a medium build and brown hair. He is wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket. His vehicle is a silver full size pickup, possibly a Chevy Silverado, with heavy front end damage.
