The Sojourner Center, Arizona's largest domestic violence shelter, is asking the public for donations of diapers, wipes and other items that are running low as the holiday shopping season begins.
Sojourner Center is at maximum capacity and running critically low on supplies. The center is in dire need of:
Diapers size 4 to 6
Twin size sheets
The center has seen a rise in demand since they have reached capacity at both locations. They currently are housing 75 children, in addition to 75 women.
The public can drop off donations at the Sojourner Center Donation Center located at 2330 E. Fillmore St., Building 10 in Phoenix. They are open Tuesday and Thursday noon to 6 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
