Arizona State cross country's Shelby Houlihan is set for her third consecutive trip to the NCAA Cross Country Championship on Saturday in Terra Haute, Indiana.
The 6k race, at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, is set for an 11:10 a.m. MT start, and will be live streamed via the NCAA.
Houlihan will be the lone Sun Devil represented at the championship competition, earning an individual bid after posting a second-place finish at the NCAA West Regional Championships last Friday.
Her finish at the regional matches the best since Olympian Amy Hastings took second in 2005.
Houlihan, who has been ASU's top finisher in every race of her career, looks to best her 31st-place, All America performance from 2012, where she ran the 6k in 20:11.4.
The best finish any Sun Devil has had at the NCAA Championships was a fifth-place run by Lisa Aguilera in 2000. Since 1998, 10 Sun Devils, including Houlihan, have earned All-America accolades.
