SOUTHINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

The Southington Police Department is investigating a robbery at a Dunkin Donuts in town Monday night.

An unidentified man entered the restaurant, which is located at 262 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike around 6:15 p.m.

Police said the man demanded money, but never implied that he had a weapon.

He fled the store with about $200 and witnesses told police he drove off in an older model, four-door gold or silver Saturn toward Orchard Lane.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

The man was wearing eye glasses clear with no visible rims, gauge style earrings, a black hooded sweatshirt with a small white logo on left sleeve, white shirt visible under a sweatshirt, gray sweat pants with dark lined front pockets and dark shoes.

Anyone with any information is asked to the Southington Police Department at 860-621-0101.
