GREENFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Greenfield police have reopened Elm Street after responding to a reported gas leak.

Greenfield fire officials say the power was shut off to the road as Berkshire Gas attended to the home. Fire officials say they are unsure if the gas smell was only in the house or in the street.

Elm Street was closed temporarily to keep people away for safety reasons.

There are no reports of injuries. Officials say it isn't clear right now where the gas smell was coming from.
