PHOENIX (CBS5) -

More Arizonans could soon be cleared to legally light up a joint to help their health.

The state is considering three new medical conditions to qualify for medical marijuana.

The State Department of Health Services will look at Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, migraines and depression as nearly qualified deliberating conditions.

The hearing is set to get underway at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the state health headquarters on 17th Avenue and Van Buren Street.

Five other states have already cleared medical marijuana to treat PTSD.
