A drug trafficking fugitive from Bullhead City is now wanted for murder.
A nationwide felony murder warrant was issued for Nora Yesenia Sandoval, 35, in connection with the 2011 murder of Ray Sanchez, a 36-year-old father of five.
A Bullhead City police spokesman on Thursday said Chase Robert Salveson, 42, was recently arrested in connection with Sanchez's murder.
Police found Sanchez's body wrapped in a plastic shower curtain near the entrance to the Colorado River Nature Center on Aug. 21, 2011. He had been stabbed more than 80 times, police said.
Sandoval has been missing from Bullhead City since failing to appear for a drug trial in which the jury ultimately found her guilty of selling methamphetamine.
Police said Sandoval blamed Sanchez for stealing a large amount of meth from her.
Sandoval purchased plastic shower curtains and cleaning supplies the day before the murder, police said.
She now has a felony warrant for drug sales and faces charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, police said.
Anyone with any information on Sandoval's whereabouts is urged to contact their local law enforcement agency or call Bullhead City Police at 928-763-1999.
