A Mesa man was booked into jail felony charges after police arrested him on suspicion of firing a gun into the air during a fight in an apartment complex parking lot Wednesday night.
Police said Bryan Goodlow was in a black Chevrolet Impala at the complex near Rio Salado Parkway and Dobson Road, where two women were fighting about 10:10 p.m.
Witnesses told police one of the women came to the complex with Goodlow and when she started losing the fight, Goodlow pulled a handgun, fired two shots in the air and drove away.
Police said found the Impala at an apartment complex near Main Street and Dobson Road. They set up surveillance, stopped and questioned Goodlow. They said Goodlow agreed to let them search his apartment and they found a handgun on top of a refrigerator before his arrest.
