Peoria, AZ – Fiesta Peoria 2013, is proud to host the first annual Hispanic Softball and Soccer Invitational. The City of Peoria partnered with the Hispanic Sports Association and Legua Latino Americana to bring you this two-day tournament. The tournament will be host to 50 softball and 40 soccer teams from several Arizona local and out of state leagues. Softball teams are open to adult men, women, and coed teams, 18 years and older. Soccer teams are open to children under age13, adult men, and women.
Invitational tournament gates will open Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 7:30 a.m., to the music of Mariachi group entertaining attendees as they arrive. There will be an opening ceremony starting at 8:00 a.m., hosted by Vice Mayor Tony Rivero. The tournament starts at 8:30 a.m., with closing ceremony scheduled for Sunday, September 29th at 7:30 p.m., to announce tournament winners. Tournament attendees can look forward to two-days of family fun-filled activities, national and local live musical entertainment, kid's party zone, and great food booth. Softball and Soccer teams from around the region will compete at Pioneer Park, Peoria's new 80 acre park with 4 lighted multi-purpose fields and 6 lighted ball fields. Families may enjoy the 5 acre lake with catch-and-keep fishing, picnic ramadas, playground/swing sets, splash pad and dog park.

Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
