Woman indicted after allegedly hitting 2 cheerleaders with car

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman is facing charges for her role in a crash that injured two Montgomery County cheerleaders.

According to The Leaf Chronicle, Roni Proctor was arrested this week after being indicted by a grand jury.

Police say Proctor was under the influence of prescription drugs back in May when she crashed head on into Kylie Eastin and Ashley Travis.

Both of the teenagers are still recovering, but Eastin made it out of the hospital in time for graduation.
