Deputies: Man charged after drunkenly preaching at Walmart

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Union County man has been charged after reportedly yelling at customers in a Walmart parking lot, according to deputies.

Denver Wallace Harris, 34, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to deputies.

Deputies said Harris was shouting at customers in the parking lot and Harris said he was trying to save people from going to "hail."

Harris had a Styrofoam cup that contained a brown liquid and his breath smelled of alcohol, according to deputies.

Harris was issued a field sobriety test and then taken into custody after become loud and boisterous once again, according to the deputies report. 

Once at jail, Turner became combative and uncooperative with the jail staff, according to deputies.
