SANTA FE, NM (AP) -

An Arizona man is in custody for allegedly assaulting a Santa Fe police officer after refusing to leave the driveway of author Forrest Fenn.

Police say 34-year-old Kevin Fulgham is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault on a peace officer and concealing identification.

Fenn called police Wednesday to say someone was parked in his driveway and wouldn't leave.

Fulgham told police his vehicle ran out of gas and he wanted to get a book signed for his father.

Police say Fulgham refused to provide identification and gave officers a wrong birthdate.

After searching the vehicle, police say his Arizona driver's license was found.

Police say Fulgham briefly scuffled with officers before being arrested.

It was unclear Thursday what Arizona city Fulgham is from and if he had a lawyer.
