Kurt Warner's life story to be a movie

GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

The incredible life of former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner could soon be coming to the silver screen.

Twentieth Century Fox has acquired the life rights to develop a feature based on Warner's life.  Warner went from stocking shelves at a grocery store for $5.50 an hour to a Super Bowl Champion.

Warner's life story seemed destined to become a movie. Warner's journey to make a roster on an NFL team was incredible.  He lead the St. Louis to the Super Bowl but the story was just beginning. Warner struggled after landing with the New York Giants, playing behind Eli Manning.

Warner's career appeared to be over, after taking a demotion in New York before heading to the Arizona Cardinals. Warner would lead the Cardinals to the Super Bowl.

Even though Arizona lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in dramatic fashion in the Super Bowl, Warner has one of the greatest success stories in NFL history.
