Norwalk woman killed in Turnpike accident

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on the Ohio Turnpike that killed a Norwalk woman.

It happened just after 7pm on Saturday night near the US 250 overpass, in Milan Township, Erie County.

53 year-old Kimala Lowry was headed eastbound and lost control of her vehicle. The car eventually struck a guardrail.

Ms. Lowry died at the hospital.

A passenger in the vehicle, 48 year-old Scott Dunn of Norwalk, suffered minor injuries.
