MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A video of a University of Memphis quarterback making music with a patient at St. Jude went viral online this week. Quarterback Jacob Karam and 11-year-old Breanna are making people smile across the country. As Breanna battles leukemia, thoughts about treatment were drowned out by melody during Karam's visit to the hospital.

"It's been really humbling to see all this love and support for Bre and what's she's going through right now and this is all about her and those kids at the Target House," said Karam.

Earlier this week we showed you a video featuring a University of Memphis football player and a St. Jude patient making music.

Karam normally showcases his skills with a football, but this time, it was the piano.

"This little girl came up to me and told me that she wanted to sing," he said.

So they did. For more than an hour.

"She just told me song after song and we stayed there and played and got to hear her sing and I told her the next time I came I wanted to have a list ready," he added.

And now the country is listening to the duo.

"It's really cool to see all of this attention that she's getting because of her incredible attitude," explained Karam, who hopes to stay in contact with Breanna.

Karam said that her family now has tickets to any University of Memphis Tigers football game that they would like to see this season.
