PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Each year, the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission (PRSC) offers Valley residents and visitors the chance to purchase one of its "Golden Tickets."  For one lucky raffle winner, this means he or she will receive two season tickets to nearly every major sporting event that takes place in the Phoenix metropolitan area during the year, starting in August 2013!

The Golden Ticket raffle is one of the largest fundraisers of the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission.  Each Golden Ticket, sold for $100, offers ticket holders the opportunity to win the grand prize, which includes:

Two 2013 Season Tickets to the Arizona Cardinals

Two 2014 Season Tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks

Two 2014 Season Tickets to the Arizona Rattlers

Two 2013 Season Tickets to Arizona State University Football

Two 2013-2014 Season Tickets to the

Arizona State University Men's and Women's Basketball

Two 2013-2014 Season Tickets to the

Grand Canyon University Men's and Women's Basketball

Two 2013-2014 Season Tickets to the Phoenix Coyotes

Two 2013-2014 Season Tickets to the Phoenix Suns

Two 2014 Season Tickets to the Phoenix Mercury

Two Tickets to the 2013 Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

Two Tickets to the 2014 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl

Two Tickets to the 2014 Waste Management Phoenix Open

Two Tickets to two (2) Phoenix International Raceway Races

The best part is that 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the Golden Tickets benefit the youth sports programs of the PRSC and supports its mission to "Enrich Our Community Through Sports."

"We are so appreciative of our partners, who for the past four years have supported this annual fundraising program that contributes to our success," said PRSC Interim Executive Director Justin Balich. "Together we can continue to recognize and support the great youth sports programs, as well as the Arizona sports teams and events that create a positive economic impact on our state!"

This year's drawing will take place August 7, 2013.  For more information about the raffle program or to purchase tickets on or before August 6th, call (602) 258-6272 or visit www.PhoenixSports.org.

The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission is a 501(c)(3) organization created in 1988, making it one of the oldest sports commissions in the United States.  Its mission is to bring national and international sporting events to the state, assist in the promotion of existing Arizona sporting events and teams, and support youth sports programs throughout Maricopa County.  In 1999, it assumed oversight of the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame, and in 2012, the Grand Canyon State Games.
