The Cuyahoga County Jail has suspected serial killer Michael Madison under a special watch 24/7.
It's the same way the jail is holding Ariel Castro - the man accused of holding three women hostage for years.
Jailers are holding Madison in the same kind of cell as Castro, and under many of the same conditions.
Madison is under 24/7 surveillance. The jail says there is no indication Madison might try to kill himself, but guards want to look out for any problems. They are also concerned about his safety and the safety of other inmates.
19 Action News has seen this go on for months with Castro. And the jail says it did the same thing with convicted serial killer Anthony Sowell.
Madison also has other restrictions. For instance, no visitors.
