Extra firefighters were called in to help battle a fire in Newtown overnight due to the warm temperatures.
Fire broke out in a barn on Lake George Road shortly before midnight.
Officials said the barn was used to store ATVs and other equipment.
The Newtown fire chief tells Eyewitness News that in addition to needing extra equipment to bring water into the fire scene, he also wanted to have extra firefighters available so they could be rotated through.
Firefighters were given frequent breaks, and water was provided. An ambulance was also placed on standby as a precaution, according to the fire chief.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
