HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A 50-year-old man arrested for allegedly making inappropriate comments and gestures toward some little leaguers at a Hartford park, went before a judge Wednesday.

Scott Weiner of Hartford was arrested earlier this month, after police said he approached teenage boys and groped himself in Colt Park.

Weiner was taken into custody, after the baseball coach called police.

He's now facing several charges, including breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.

On Tuesday, Weiner was essentially on house arrest, after his first appearance before a judge.

The judge said Weiner must wear an ankle bracelet, and can only leave his home for court, a doctor's appointment or a job interview.

The judge also said Weiner cannot be with any children in an unsupervised situation.

Weiner did not speak with Eyewitness News, after court Tuesday.

This is not the first time Weiner has been in trouble with the law.

Weiner was on the sex offender registry for 10 years, after a 1998 arrest and conviction for risk of injury to a minor.

People at Colt Park Tuesday said they're OK with the new restrictions on Weiner.

"With everything that's gone on with children in Connecticut, they're probably a little more cautious of what's going on in any cases that deal with younger children," said Anthony Williams of Middletown.
