According to multiple reports, ASU is adding Penn State transfer Jermaine Marshall. Marshall averaged more than 15 points per game last season, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Marshall eligible immediately because he's set to graduate from PSU in August, leaving open the graduate transfer criterion, which allows college basketball players to switch schools for their final year without sitting out a typical redshirt season.
Marshall announced his departure from the Nittany Lions in May with the initial intent to pursue a professional career overseas, but Marshall reconsidered opting for another year in college. North Carolina, Florida State and Creighton were reported to be other suitors for Marshall.
