LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

While you might not remember where you were 19 years ago Monday, you probably remember what you were watching on TV.

While the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets were playing Game 5 of the 1994 NBA Finals, arguably the most infamous police chase in American history spread like wildfire across television sets.

O.J. Simpson led police on an hour-long chase in a white Ford Bronco through Los Angeles.

The NFL star turned actor had been charged with the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson Brown, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

Simpson gave up and was arrested, later being acquitted of double murder following a lengthy trial.

Currently, Simpson is in a Nevada prison waiting to see if he will get a new trial following a 2008 robbery conviction.
