PHOENIX (AP) -

The D'backs won't run away with the NL West.  Riding a wave of momentum, Arizona fell 10-5 to the San Francisco Giants on Saturday night.

The Giants scored 2 in the second when Hunter Pence stole 3rd and Miguel Montero's throw went into left field.  In the sixth, the defending World Champs put up six thanks to Buster Posey's three run home run.  It was Posey's 8th home run on the season.

Trevor Cahill had a rough outing.  He gave up 8 earned runs on 9 hits.  The D'backs did fight back to score 5.  Paul Goldschmidt tied a club record with his 8th straight game with an RBI.

Arizona can still win the series on Sunday.  It's "Bark in the Park" Day, dogs get in free.
