LAS VEGAS (AP) -
A 27-year-old self-described pimp accused of killing three people in a shooting and fiery crash on the Las Vegas Strip is due to face a state court judge in what prosecutors are making a death penalty case.
Ammar Asim Faruq Harris is scheduled Monday to enter pleas in Clark County District Court to murder and attempted murder charges in the Feb. 21 shooting and crash.
The pre-dawn shooting and crash killed the driver of a Maserati sports car and two people in a taxi that exploded in flames.
Harris was arrested a week later in Los Angeles.
Harris also faces felony robbery and sex assault charges in a 2010 rape case that had been dismissed.
The alleged victim re-emerged after the Strip carnage and testified before a grand jury.
