PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is meeting with attorneys from several Arizona cities Monday for an open discussion about the legality of same-sex civil unions.

The meeting comes on the heels of the city of Bisbee approving same-sex civil unions, a move Horne claims is in violation of state and federal laws.

Horne and the city attorneys were scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. at the Arizona Capitol.

Horne has closed the meeting to the media, a move he said was to ensure people could speak freely about the topic without the fear of cameras.

No other information was immediately available.
