TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man charged with two high-profile murders in 2011, but acquitted during the trial, is going to prison for his involvement in another case.

Cameo Pettaway was found guilty in March of felonious assault for the beating of his girlfriend back in October 2012. On Monday, he was ordered to prison for six years for the assault in Oregon.

The assault came just two months after he was acquitted for the murders of Lisa Straub and Johnny Clarke. The two were found suffocated in Straub's parents' home in Springfield Township.

Samuel Williams was found guilty of the murders and given two life prison sentences without chance of parole.
