Police searching for missing Milford sisters

MILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Milford Police Department is asking for the public's help locating two sisters, who have been missing for several days.

According to police, Jamilya Jones, 15, was last seen by a family member on Clark Street on March 18 at 3:30 p.m. Her older sister, Tamara Jones, 17, has not been seen since March 21.

Police said they believe both sisters could be together in the Bridgeport area.

Jamilya Jones is being described as being 5"5' and weighing 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, jeans and black/white sneakers.

Tamara Jones is being described as being 5"6' and weighing 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It was unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Anyone with any information about the teenagers' whereabouts is asked to call the Milford Police Department at 203-878-6551. All calls will be kept confidential.
