City workers in Hartford will not be getting bonuses this year.
The decision comes after the Hartford City Council voted Monday night to ban the bonuses except those specifically called for in contracts.
Monday night's vote comes less than a week after Eyewitness News learned that some employees received tens of thousands of dollars worth of "exceptional service increments," even as the Capitol City remained in the midst of a budget crunch.
