MESA, AZ (CBS5) -
Mesa police said a 27-year-old woman is missing after a reported struggle at her apartment early Thursday morning.
Investigators found signs of an altercation and blood in the apartment where Vanessa Mendoza lived near of Dobson Road and Southern Avenue, said Mesa police Sgt. Tony Landato. No one was in the apartment when police arrived.
The investigation began after police were notified of an altercation in the apartment complex about 8 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and were wrapping up at the apartment, but had not located Mendoza as of 5:30 a.m. Friday, according to a police spokesman.
Mendoza is 5'1" tall, 115 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

No other information was immediately available.
