The attorney for a Fulton County woman who took former NBA star Michael Jordan to court over paternity claims says the case has been dismissed.
Randy Kessler, who represents Pamela Smith, says Smith requested that the suit be dismissed last Friday night.
In December, Smith's son, a 16-year-old who goes by Taj Jordan, posted a video on YouTube where he claimed that Michael Jordan was his biological father.
"If you've been hearing any rumors about I'm Michael Jordan's son on Twitter, Instagram, MediaTakeOut, World Star - any of that - it's true," he said.
In February, Smith filed a paternity lawsuit against Michael Jordan, in which she said he became pregnant after she was involved him in 1995. Smith sued for a paternity test, back child support and medical bills for her son.
Kessler did not release any information about why the suit was dropped.
