TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A man is in critical condition this morning after Toledo police say a driver went through the intersection of South Ravine Parkway and Sixth Street in east Toledo, and slammed head-on into a pole.
Emergency crews rushed the car's passenger to the hospital with what police say are extremely critical injuries.
The driver was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash left a big crack in the utility pole, but after an inspection, Toledo Edison crews say the pole is safe.
