CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Clarksville woman is facing multiple years in prison for trying to kill her baby in 2011.
Yvette Slee has been convicted of attempted first-degree murder and child abuse.
Authorities said she put a plastic bag over her son's head and tried to suffocate him.
Slee is facing 15 to 20 years in prison for each Class A felony, according to a report in the Leaf-Chronicle.
The lack of oxygen left her son with 80-percent brain damage, blind, deaf and with a severe disorder that causes him to have seizures.
