A $35,000 reward was announced Tuesday, offered by the Las Vegas taxicab industry, for information leading to an arrest in last week's deadly Strip shooting and subsequent wreck.
Las Vegas Metro police announced the reward as the suspect in the Feb. 21 incident - Ammar Harris - remained on the run.
Harris, 26, is believed to have fired the shot that set the deadly chain of events in motion and led to the deaths of three people, including cab driver Michael Bolden.
In addition, Metro identified 22-year-old Yenesis Alfonzo as a person of interest in the case. Police believe the woman was inside the Range Rover at the time of the shooting.
Taxicab leaders are making a monetary donation to a reward trust designed to aid in Harris' capture in lieu of a reward offered by organization Crime Stoppers.
Taxicab industry leader Brent Bell met with media to discuss the reward Tuesday along with a representative from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
